Overall I found this a cute quick read, it was nothing mind blowing although what would you expect from a comic series based on a game where you have to doodle to get a character through different stages. Create a backlog, submit your game times and compete with your friends.
There was a plot, I can't say it gripped me and had me all that engaged, but there was some attempt at there being purpose to the comic, which to be honest was more than I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised, as I already said, the art style was cute. I couldn't understand how they could build up a comic series from the game though, so I was interested to pick this up and see what they could do with it. I played Doodle Jump a few years back and thought it was good fun. The graphics are all done in such a colourful and cute way which makes you just want to cuddle the characters.
